Attention: The Seahorse system located in the Translational Research Shared Resource core lab (WRB 3-503) will be relocating to the Research Tower (RT-300) adjacent to the Wood Building.

The old system will be available until Dec 24 at which time Agilent will come to remove the old system. A newer model Seahorse is currently in the process of being installed. Once setup is completed, the new Seahorse will be available for reservation through the Mitochondrial Core's iLab page.

Overview of Services

The Imaging Research Core provides a comprehensive suite of preclinical and clinical imaging instrumentation and techniques developed in-house by our leading imaging scientists. The Core services the CWRU and University Hospitals research communities, researchers and industry partners throughout University Circle and Northeast Ohio, and across the country. The Imaging Research Core offers the expertise, infrastructure, and environment that can help turn your research into a reality. The Imaging Research Core offers a variety of preclinical and clinical services based on a set rate structure.

  • The Imaging Research Core can also assist you in conducting preclinical studies on other clinical modalities (eg, PET or CT).
Radiopharmaceutical Development:
  • The Imaging Research Core includes a state-of-the-art PET radiopharmaceutical core facility to provide radiotracers to the research community for nuclear imaging research at Case and affiliated institutions. This facility was designed to provide critical support in terms of molecular imaging needs to biomedical research communities.
