Summer 2026 Course: EMSE 515 (Analytical Methods of Materials Science)

Microcharacterization techniques of materials science and engineering: SPM (scanning probe microscopy), SEM (scanning electron microscopy), FIB (focused ion beam) techniques, SIMS (secondary ion mass spectrometry), EPMA (electron probe microanalysis), XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectrometry), and AES (Auger electron spectrometry), ESCA (electron spectrometry for chemical analysis). Mitochondrial Core

 

Overview of Services

The Mitochondrial Research Core provides services to examine the composition and function of mitochondrial protein complexes. This includes functional assays that measure electron transport chain (ETC) activity in cells and in isolated complexes.
